Greetings,

Welcome to the e-gallery of the Secret Society of Photographers. Our organization is comprised of amateur and professional photographers for the purpose of learning and sharing their work.

This site is simple in comparison to other web sites that permeate the net because we do not want to take away from the works on display. You will not see any reference to specific manufacture's equipment or equipment reviews because we believe it's the photographer and not the equipment that makes the photo. This does not preclude us from writing about lens selection (wide, normal, telephoto), film choice (slide or negative - ISO rating - Kodak, Fuji, Agfa, etc.), lighting (artificial vs. natural), or camera type (35mm, medium, large format, etc.). These items influence composition in terms or perspective, color saturation, grain and exposure.

The web has afforded us the opportunity to share our work beyond the geographic confines of our organization and we hope you will find our e-gallery enjoyable and informative. Click on any image to see a lager rendition.
